Here's How I Do It All, & You Can Too

I've always been a "take the bull by the horns type of person". You know, that "Type A" freak that seems like they have it all together all the time, but inside it's like a nuclear bomb went off inside their soul. That's definitely me...

If you were to get a glimpse into my brain, I'd imagine it looks a lot like an end of the world type situation...little fires all over the place...people running around and screaming...thunder and lightning...random explosions...you get the picture right?

Well somehow, amidst all that chaos, I get everything done...and let me tell you, it is a freaking miracle, but it happens!

I'm not going to lie and tell you that it's always easy, because we all know nothing ever is...but, if you try out some of my methods, I'm sure you'll be able to slay mom life, just like I do...well, most of the time! (If I'm being honest!)

1. Utilize Nap Time

This is my biggest opportunity to get stuff done! For now, Olivia is an amazing napper, but I know it won't last forever! I take advantage of it while I can! I work, clean, whatever I need to do! Sometimes I wonder who benefits more from naps...I think it's me!

2. Wake Up Early

This has been a tough thing for me to adjust to, but I have to admit, it makes all the difference. During the week I wake up at 4:30 AM. (You totally don't have to wake up that early, do whatever works best for your schedule!) I get up, head to work, then work out before I start work. ( My work has exercise equipment!) That way I don't have to worry about getting my physical activity in after work. I don't have to take away time from Olivia. I get up, get it over with, and begin my day.

3. Night Time is the Right Time

Staying up after bedtime can be tough, but the juice is totally worth the squeeze. We put Olivia down between 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM, then I generally stay up until 10ish to get some extra work done. On the weekends I try to stay up later to catch up, but I'm lucky if I make it to midnight, I'm one exhausted Mama!

4. Multitask

Watching Trolls for the five millionth time? Get some work done on your phone. Pull out your laptop. Play the clean up game. Fold laundry. Multitasking is key. The more birds you can kill with one stone, the better off you'll be.

5. Lean On Your Significant Other

I try my best to get things done without asking for a life line, but sometimes it's just down right unavoidable. Luckily for me, my husband is phenomenal when it comes to wrangling the little one while I plan my world domination. He totally doesn't mind picking up the slack for me while I handle the daily ins and outs of Momming, working full time, running my personal biz, and running the household. Thanks babe, you're the real MVP.

There you have it. Now go kick ass Mama. Take on the world. Make the moves. Slay the Mom game.

What are some of your tips for getting it all done?
